A spectacular picture book showing the potential of the arts, storytelling and creativity, to comfort, transform and protect. Suri is the tallest of the many children staying in a walled sanctuary, this makes her stick out, but it also means she has now grown tall enough to peek her nose over the wall to where the other children can't see. She tells them all of the beautiful magical lands and people she can see. In a wonderful mix of magic and fiction where we never quite know what's true and what's not. Sure enough though the land is war-torn, Suri's stories keep the children happy, inspired and feeling safe! Clever, simple and poignant. Picture book for ages 5+.
